The University of Oklahoma has been able to get it’s act together in a amazing way and reduce it’s campus phone bill from 530,000 per month to $6000.00 per month with a 4 million dollar hardware investment. Pretty good savings especially when cost recovery is less that 9 months. I say give that IT staff a heck of christmas bonus. If I was the financial director at that school I would make sure that IT staff is happy. But I am sure the local bell company is wondering how they are going to survive this. [Red Herring]
