I can only imagine what Microsoft has planned by making a deal to link windows into the Bios on your motherboard. This has some interesting implications my initial thought was that they would tie in to help prevent pirating of there software. As complicated as some BIOS are becoming I would not mind Windows switching on and off items that would improve system performance. [Ars Technica]
