After a long break, the fith edition of the new “Bryan’s Pick” is back. Bryan’s Pick is a usefull and time saving program that I recommend for anyone all ages that makes things in life a little easier.
Let people know what you are doing online…if you want. I’ve been looking around for good Desktop Cam programs to capture your screen for you. This week will showcase my pick for the best Desktop Cam publisher- best of all, it’s free.
SCWebCam3 functions like a webcam, except it uploads your computer screen instead of using a camera and taking a picture of you LOOKING at your computer screen. (If you have a camera, however, you can even integrate the video image into the capture!). SCWebCam3 is a major update to SCWebCam2, addressing many issues and adding MANY new features.
PROS: Another awesome program selected this week, I just love SCWebCam3, becuase unlike other desktop cams, this one will take a picture of yourself (via webcam) in the corner, while capturing your screen- which is really cool. Your viewers can see why you’re making a “oh I just crashed my computer” face of yours ;)
CONS: I can’t pick out any cons, since it’s the best in it’s class! Simply, the best desktop cam software there is. Maybe in the next version, an automatic feature that shows the last 10 captures. Sure you can do that another way, but maybe a cool built in feature. Other than that, this is the best there is, and for the free price tag- you can’t beat it.
SCWebcam3 is a free download at 750K. Check it out! That’s Bryan’s Pick for the week of August 17th. Check back next Sunday for another software review! Bryan Roy, Geek News Central
SCWebCam3
I find it interesting that the Desktop Capture software that I have been using for this site has such high reviews. I just happened to stumble upon it by accident while looking at Leoville.com and downloaded it. Well, I did some research and I came acr…
Heh.. thanks very much for the favourable comments! I would comment that the download is only 750k, not 1.5M, but otherwise, how can I not be pleased?
