Well I now own my first Apple product ever! For those of you that know me pick your Jaws off the floor, no this doesn’t mean I am running out and purchasing a PowerBook or anything of that nature. With space being a premium everywhere I go smaller is better and there was no way I was buying some of those other products that are lined with lead.
I got sick of having to load my Rio every few days with new music. As I get used to the user interface I will give you some feedback but so far I really like it and several guys at the office want to steal it. But I am looking for a good MP3 editor MusicMatch’s super tagger is nice but it awful slow. [Apple Ipod]

This is just your first Apple product. It will be followed by many others in the future. Congratulations on stepping up to the good stuff. You now have a new standard to measure all of your future technology purchases against. It will be hard to setlle for crap in the future. As for better music software, wait for iTunes for Windows. If it’s anything like iTunes for Mac, it too will blow away the competition. Plus, you’ll get to use the online Apple Music Store. Trust me. You’ll be hooked on great tech products from Apple. I was. Forget MusicMatch. You have gotta try iTunes…that will convince you that the computers & applications are as slick as the iPod itself!
I got the 5 gig, then got my wife and older daughter 10 gigs, then when the 30 gig came out, I got that and gave the 5 gig to my youngest daughter — resistance is futile, and this is way too much fun!
I just joined the same club and I must say if the rest of apple’s products are this good I may have to take a closer look!!!
