I want to thank Chris Pirillo from Lockergnome for providing information on this alternative Google Search Bar. I was very displeased to find that in Googles latest toolbar that the have a Blog this button that only works with Blogger. It is a shot across the bow and attempt by Google to dominate the Blogging world. If they would do as others have and support the Weblog MetaAPI and made that button configurable to use on other Blogging tools I would not be saying this but they didn’t.
So I am going to be running this Alternative search bar called GGSearch as a form of protest. I encourage all of you webloggers to do the same. Those of you that are just surfing the web this toolbar is an excellent alternative to Googles toolbar and another thing it does not send data back to Google like the new Google toolbar does. The author has a pretty nice weblog also [ggsearch.blogspot.com] and he is offering a free addon to anyone that links to his site for at least 7 days.
