Everyone likes a Grab bag even overseas there is a underground industry for it in Japan, they have these amazing sidewalk grab bag sales that women go nuts for you may ask why. They price the bags quite high ($20.00-$50.00) but there is a catch, lets say 20 bags one will contain a expensive luxury item ($1000.00) handbag, watch etc. The retail stores do it to clear inventory. But Amazon is basically selling promotional materials which they probably get for free.
It seems that Amazon has figured out the public likes those cool promotional items that manufactures send out. From time to time a manufacture will send me a box with a promotional item in it. Some of the stuff is pretty cool. I think my favorite thus far was the world famous 8 ball but it is colored in the promotional companies colors logo etc. When you turn it over it gives you technical answers versus typical 8 ball answers. Quite cute and techies have begged to buy it from me. Because I like that item it sits on my desk half paper weight half conversation piece all of the clients that come to my office get exposed to that company. Do I endorse them no but I sure like the promotional item.
