How long did it take them to figure that out?
Geez anyone that has a kid using the Internet already knows this. Those of you that don’t think that your kids they will be getting offers for Viagra and various other adult services through e-mail are kidding themselves. Most teens know how to find this filth and then cover there tracks, most parents are oblivious.
When I was a kid I remember finding a Penthouse magazine when I was about 13. I lived in the country so it was a pretty amazing find. But heck as fascinated as I was, and for long as I kept it hid it proved to be popular reading material for me and my friends. With kids surfing the net and getting to see 100 times more explicit material without even looking for it that Penthouse I had as a kid seems pretty benign.
I don’t know why people are surprised they only need to open there eyes and look at what your spam filters are catching. Parent intervention and monitoring are the only choice. Parents need to communicate with there kids. Spam with Porn in it, will not stop it is only going to get worse! [Wired]
