Mozilla

I have used Internet Ecplorer for years but have found myself playing with Mozilla more and more. Tonight I made it my default browser. It became apparent that Mozillla loads pages about 3 times faster and has a lot better cache mechanism for grahics. With webmasters stuffing more graphics onto pages there had to be a better way. when I first installed mozilla I was like WOW, I almost changed from IE but then I found performance tweak for IE that makes you chose how many operations IE can work at the same time, after that IE got as fast as mozilla but with more cpmpability so I deleted mozilla

Try the browser formerly known as Phoenix. It’s faster, more configurable, and has a more intuitive UI. Even better, tabbed browsing is enabled by default. The next major rev of Mozilla will be based on it.

There is occasional weirdness, especially with DHTML or XML stuff. I’ve had a hard time trying to get my image gallery scripts looking right in both IE and Mozilla-based browsers.

There’s a bunch of extensions and skins linked off the Phoenix site. My favorites: Optimoz mouse gestures and Tabbed Browsing. Optimoze lets you use mouse gestures, like in the game Black and White, to do common browser gestures. I use Tabbed Browsing mainly to switch between tabs, but I’m sure it does some other stuff too.

Weird thing is I can not edit this blog in the browser as I can not see some of my editing buttons which are embeded images which for the life of me I can’t figure it out.

I made this switch, just as you did, about 2 months ago. I downloaded Mozilla, played w/ it for awhile, and finally made the leap of faith. And boy, am I glad that I did!!
