First off, I would like to thank Geeknews for giving me the opportunity to help out with the site and watch it grow.
I wanted to post a “Hello” since my induction as an editor yesterday. I am very excited because I feel the focus of this site is awesome and I am happy to be a part of it!
Well then…Let’s get down to business…
I am a big fan of all things “geek”. As you get to know me you will see that I love to spread my interests from everything from gaming to programming. I love to use and learn alternative operating systems. Although I’m not a zealot of any particular operating system in general. I believe it to be important for any computer enthusiast to use and/or become familiar with oses such as Mac OS, Linux, BSD and of course the Microsoft Windows family.
So, while sticking to my title theme I wanted to post a link to a site that I found was a tremendous help to me when I decided to learn about programming. There is also a great wealth of knowledge shared there that does not directly pertain to programming that you may find informative.
I look forward to exploring the world of technology with you and hope that you enjoy having me.
