In a very interesting move TiVo has released a software upgrade that will allow the device to pull the data from your PC for distribution to your other entertainment devices.
“The Home Media Option software will let the TiVo boxes access and distribute content such as music files or digital photos stored on the hard drives of Apple Computer’s Macs or on Windows PCs, streaming them to a television set or stereo via wired or wireless home networks”
This does it for me I know what I am spending part of Tax return on. I have got to have one of these. I have this fabulous sound system and a mediocre TV but I love my Audio and this is the perfect bridge to get the data I want in the format I want into my entertainment devices. Too Cool! [ZDNet]
