While I was traveling in Japan recently many times I had to jump out of peoples way because they were not looking where they were going. The reason they weren’t is because they were looking at their cell phones. On top of that I inspected some of the top of the line digital camera phones they have over there and was quite shocked that the picture was very good.
Now Imagine you are in a bathroom and someone snaps your picture the scenarios are numerous and could infringe on personal privacy. With digital phones having cameras in them becoming more commonplace it will not be long before someone ends up in jail due to snapping a picture of someone in a place that cameras should not be at. I can imagine all sorts of scenarios fights people spying on each other the list goes on. [Wired]
