Today I spent the afternoon out my son had a birthday party and it was a regular afternoon of being a dad. Well I get home tonight get them some dinner put one in the tub and another in the shower and read a nice bedtime story get the picture nice relaxing evening ahead. There all tucked in and asleep the wife is watching a program in Japanese that I can barely understand and decide it is a great time to read e-mail.
I load up outlook and see that the spam program catches 73 out of 111 e-mail messages as spam, it missed another 11 that made it to my Inbox. My server side solution has caught nearly 20,000 in the last 3 weeks alone. Anyway I look over at the Fax machine and see a fax hanging out of it and pull it out and nearly blow my top. I have gotten travel deals and fax’s from local companies etc but never a fax from someone claiming to have $25,000,000 to share with me down in South Africa.. Geez what a crock of Shit can you believe someone would spend a dime to fax me this thing. I am going to call a legal friend of mine tomorrow and see if this thing breaks any laws.
I have said I would never sue anyone for anything but this may just change my mind. This has to break some federal law. I am just mind boggled that they sent it to me. Is there that many stupid people in the world that they can play those kinds of odds and outlay that much cash to fax me something figuring the rate of dumb people returning there call would be like 1/100 of 1%.
