A reader sent me a link to a article about how a computer user was able to recover a hosed windows boot sequence when his PC was setup with Linux and he was able to boot into the Linux OS and then mount the messed up Windows partition fix the issue and re-boot back into Linux.
I learned this several years ago and most of my PC’s here can dual boot. Which has allowed me to save the day a few times and also allowed me to clean-up thousands of files MS never touched or were for some reason hidden. [Source NewsForge]
