I arrived back in Hawaii about a week ago and when I went back to work one of my co-workers who has been a long time PC user had a New MAC sitting on his desk. After I picked my jaw off the floor and we got done swapping typical MAC/PC insults I asked him why he had made the switch. He explained he had some extra cash lying around and wanted something new to play with. (Wish I had some extra cash lying around) Having seen him using the laptop for several days and having seen him dig out his PC running Windows 2000 to run some applications that are not ported for MAC I begun to wonder if he had not flushed $5000.00 down the toilet.
Adding fuel to the fire today I found a article where it seems the CPU speed crazed Mac users are not going to be getting a speed bump in CPU or Perphials anytime soon. I wonder what this addiction is with people that own MAC’s
I am not by any means a MAC hater but it seems that MAC users are extremely passionate in way they justify their purchases. To do this day I am thankful I can buy almost any component from any of multiple vendors and 99% of the time can be guaranteed it will work in the PC that is getting the upgraded.
So now that MAC users will have to wait patiently for a speed bump I wonder how many of them are privately fumming at the mouth.
