If you’re anything like me, spell check is almost a necessity to catch the places where my brain moves faster than my fingers. I’ve been plagued for as long as I’ve been writing online by typos of all sorts, and there just doesn’t seem to be a good, easy way to check my spelling when I’m using a form on the web. Well, the other day I ran across ieSpell an Internet Explorer Browser Plug-in that will check the spelling in forms on a website. It works great and functions much like the MS Office Spell Checker. It’s a must have for web writers. Best of all, it’s freeware!
Another nifty freeware tool that I ran across the other day is a font manager. I have over 800 font faces on my computer and it gets old trying to pick the right one for the particular job, and manage them. Never fear! The Font Thing has been working very well for me and has a ton of nifty features, like the ability to compare a group of selected fonts given custom text. Check it out!
