Liquid Image – CES 2009

Ces-2009-liquid-image-maskI was pretty amazed at how they have accomplished this and I think you will find there new mask one of the most innovative products I have seen for divers in a long time.

As a subnote my wife is absolutely crazy about these mask. Needless to say sometimes CES cost me a few dollars once I get home as I end up buying some of the cool stuff at the show.


Buglabs – CES 2009



BuglabsBuglabs is product that makes most adult geeks go kinda crazy. I like to refer to Buglabs modules as geek erector sets. We caught up with team to get a update on what’s new at Buglabs for 2009

We also were lucky enough to get a glimpse of a new module that was being introduced which is the introduction of a qwerty keyboard.

As my kids get older they will have a complete buglabs module kit as the devices are such that will spur creativity in a way that no other product on the market today.


Aerovation – Laptop Bags – CES 2009



AerovationOn a annual basis I have to replace my computer bag due to abuse while flying and being on the go all the time. As I am traveling I am always pulling out my laptop to be scanned and this is just a pain.

When we talked to the good folks at Aerovation they have just introduced a TSA approved bag that will allow you to leave your laptop in its bag and run it through the X-Ray machine.

PogoPlug – CES 2009



PogoPlug.comThe PogoPlug connects your external hard drive to the Internet. All you need to do is connect PogoPlug to a network connection and any external hard-drive and your hard-drive is then accessible anyplace on the Internet.

While your Internet connection will be the only limiting factor access should be relative fast for pictures and documents.


TV Armor – CES 2009



TV ArmorWhen we found the folks from TV-Armor that have a very innovative product that is designed to protect your LCD display. We have all seen the videos of the Wii remotes breaking LCD screens.

Well for the Interview we asked permission to throw a water bottle at the screen as a demo. Well water bottle #1 really did not hit very hard. Andy decided that was not a good enough test watch as water bottle #2 really whack the heck out of the screen nearly knocking the TV over!

Needless to say it worked as advertised protecting the screen and beyond about giving me a heart attack I am convinced that you would be well invested to protect your LCD screen with TV Armor.


Webaround @Webaround.com – CES 2009



webaround.comHave you ever wanted to hide what is behind you when you are on a video chat. I have been in hotel rooms before and wanted to have a conference call but did not want to have to make it appear I was in a hotel.

The folks at Webaround have come up with a simple but effective product that allows you to simply unfold a screen that attaches to your chair. The price point is around $30.00. Please note this is not green or blue screen material that can be used in pro video. It is simply a screen to hide what is behind you. A very practical and effective product.


Wildcharge – CES 2009



WildchargeWe talked to Wildcharge in 2008 and we caught up with them again during CES 2009 to find out what they have on the market now and what is new. The folks at Wildcharge now have their product available nation wide.

By adding a skin to your device you simply throw your device on the recharging station. This is a very clean solution that allows you to get rid of messy cables that clutter up your home or recharging area.
