Census data over Google Maps
The linked page is getting hammered pretty hard at the moment. So If you have a hard time loading the page give it a hour or two but visit the site and check out what has been created. I can think of some awesome applications having census data embedded in Google Map searches. [www.gcensus.com]
Personalize your Google
Hot on the tails of My Yahoo!, Google now has a homepage-like site which features news, your Gmail account, weather, and some other cute options (such as Word of the Day). What I found the most interesting is that you can drag and drop the tables containing the information. Does someone want to explain to me how they managed that
Google Video Uploader: Now for Mac!
What didn't make sense to me was how Google was going to have a video upload program, yet not include Mac users. HELLO?! Didn't they realize that the majority of video editors use Macs to edit? I'm not making this up - I happen to be one. And then they did, and everything was right in the world again. Thanks,
