Well apparently some readers over on Engadget are concerned that the coverage they have been giving Apple is biased. Recent comments in a now closed comment section was taking them to task, it came to a head yesterday when Engadget closed comments on it’s Mac Mini coverage.
Probably my frank commentary on Apple is one of the reasons I don’t get invited to Apple events! Any blog that gets piles of products to review like Engadget does has to play pretty nice or face not getting products to review. I get products here to review as well, the one difference is that I actually use the product for a minimum of 3 days before a review is written, not very many sites actually use the product they are reviewing. Most of the time what you read online is sound bites from the press literature that is provided in the kit that is usually sent with products.
I am sure Engadget means well but goes to prove that you can’t please everyone all the time. [Engadget]
