I am sure the #lockergnome IRC channel is going to get slammed after you all read this. I know I will need to start hanging out there. [#1/usr/bin/geek]
Obviously several readers do not know what Internet Relay Chat IRC stands for from some of the comments I am getting. Of which one of those channel’s is the #lockergnome channel where people hang out and chat. A regular user in the channel who is a supposed actor went on a buying spree for some of the participants. I have been asked what getting slammed means, it is to infer that the channel will have a huge influx of participants. I suppose I need to post some info on IRC being it is one of the very original functions of the Internet prior to the invention of the web browser. I also would have thought the readership savvy enough to understand some of the jargon.
I am still on the record that I am a Geek and not a English Major but some of you seem to think I should have a degree in english. I’ll be honest I have a degree in hard work and school of hard knocks with 20+ years working with advanced electronics. So if I miss a comma or forget to dot and i relax it’s just a web site.
WTF does that mean well go to the referenced web site. I did not plan on spelling it all out for you the referened article will answer the question.
WTF does that even mean? Usually, I am aggravated by the poor spelling/grammar at Geeknews Central, but have refrained from commenting out of respect and gratitude for the interesting tidbits provided. However, this time I must protest loudly at this jumble of words which add up to complete nonsense. Please take a few seconds after typing your messages to make sure that normal beings from the planet Earth will be able to decipher the meaning thereof.
