I want to take this opportunity to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. Geek News Central is not even 1 year old at this point and the success of the site has amazed even me. Our Hit statistics reflect a continuous growth in user traffic. Many of you have stumbled upon the site via a search engine or referral. We are happy that many of you come back a second time.
My philosophy when I started this site was to provide content that I thought informative. We do not get nearly everything posted that we wish we could but with time and with more editors we can bring greater content.
Several have volunteered for editor positions but never really followed thru. I don’t really blame them as they have had no sense of ownership. I have supported the site financially thus far and will continue to do so. I am not a professional journalist nor am I a professional writer but I try to get my point across in every day terms and if I make a grammatical error screw it.
So I hope you continue to keep reading and visiting. I find a gem from time to time that makes your occasional visit worth it. If you do feel we save you money or have provided a critical tip that has saved your hard drive or your sanity feel free to drop us something in the donation bucket. We will use it to pay for the growing bandwidth and hopefully grow to the point we can afford a dedicated server.
