The worm we talked about on the show yesterday has been busy!

Windows 2000 users nationwide who have not patched their computers either battled, or are battling a worm that continues to spread ,and cause havoc. Effected the most were large companies that have large enterprise installations of Windows 2000.

I caught a news segment were a IT technician at CNN was actually patching machines by hand with a floppy. This surprised me as I would have thought that enterprise systems would have simply pushed the patch to their entire network.

Troubling though is the worms ability to establish itself on one Windows 2000 machine, and then spread to other version of Windows. See additional details on [Business Week]
