The Nora Smart Snoring Solution was funded by 3,426 backers on Kickstarter. You can pre-order it now. Estimated delivery for pre-orders is August 2016. It retails for $239.
Unlike other things that are designed to stop snoring, the Nora Smart Snoring Solution is non-invasive. There is nothing special that a user must wear to bed in order to use it – no masks, dentures, or nose strips. The system itself is unobtrusive. You might not be able to spot it in a bedroom unless someone points it out.
Nora is comprised of two separate devices: an egg-shaped hub and a pillow insert. The hub can be placed on a bedside table. It is activated with a quick tap before you go to bed. Now alert, its built-in microphone listens for snoring. When it detects the snoring beginning, it wirelessly communicates with the pillow insert, which gently inflates, changing the direction of your head and opening up your constricted airway.
The pillow insert is useful because it works with any pillow. This allows you to keep using your favorite type of pillow. The Nora Smart Snoring System works no matter what sleep position you choose. Nora comes with a charger and carrying case, which makes it easily portable.
