PAPAGO GoSafe Tire Pressure Monitoring System

When I was asked to review the GoSafe Tire Pressure Monitoring System it was the first time I have reviewed a aftermarket accessory for a vehicle. My every day drive vehicle is a 2009 Mazda CX9 and even though the vehicle is feature rich it did not come with a TPMS.

Installation of the Tire Pressure Monitoring System literally took about 15 minutes. It comes with a receiver, power plug 12v, 4 tire pressure sensors, Anti Theft Nuts, and Anti Theft Wrench. Plus you communicate via an Smart Phone app which communicates via bluetooth. There is a syncing process during setup and then you simply install the tire pressure sensors.

I spend a lot of time in my car each day, and it was cool to track tire pressure on the fly. I was able to make small adjustments to get the pressure in each of my tires exactly the same, which over time will reduce tire wear and improve gas mileage.

The sensors job is simple, it lets you know when the pressure is low or too high and give you a quick check for actual pressure. My wife is always nagging me saying a tire pressure looks low, this system allowed her to quickly look on her phone to check the pressure.

This product is a great aftermarket product, I found though that we did not need to leave the receiver plugged in all the time. We pulled it out of the glove box when we wanted to do a quick check.

For peace of mind and to keep track of tire pressure this is a very cool aftermarket product to extend the life of your current vehicle and add a level of safety to a loved ones vehicle that may not be used to checking the tire pressure like they should.
