Video is rendered in the cloud and then delivered to platforms like set-top boxes and smart TV’s. Unlike devices such as the Roku, which downloads content from the cloud in real-time as it streams, this service actually renders and streams from the cloud, meaning nothing is being downloaded. It all runs on a very small thin-client installed on the boxes.
