The company, started by the founder of Oakley, is now looking to take on the other side of all of this — getting those high-res videos into people’s home and theaters. To that end, the company unveiled the Red-Ray player, which is a 4k playback device. Don’t get confused with Blu-Ray because this does not play discs — the data for something like The Hobbit simply could not fit on one. The device retails for $1450.00.
