Sometimes this means a new product, sometimes it’s improving an old product and sometimes it’s a new category. Two categories that will be big at CES 2011 are tablets and 3D TVs. Even before CES officially starts, there are already some news coming out of what some of the vendors are going to be introducing at CES 2011. LG is expected to introduce a 3D TV with Passive Glasses. Motorola is expected to introduce a tablet that runs Android 2.4 aka Honeycomb. This is the first version of Android designed specifically for a tablet. These are just two of many products that will be introduced at CES. Some will be from well known brand others will be coming from small companies you have never heard of.
Many tech pundit think they already know what will be coming out of CES however, there will always be a few surprises. Something unexpected coming out of CES will be a hit this year. On the other end there will be some products shown at CES that will never be seen on any store shelf. If you are at all interested in what is going to happen in the future in the area of consumer electronics you owe it to yourself to follow what is happening at CES If you are not lucky enough to be going to CES, then you can follow the coverage through the Tech Podcast Network and through Twitter and through this web site. I also plan to create a Pearltree out of stories that are coming out of CES from people I follow.
