Well, for me, anyway. I saw this today in some random slide show one of my techs sent around via email. I went looking to see if I could find one, and a price, but had very little luck. I can get one from India for 41K in Rs. currency, whatever that is.
I am one of those people that does not have a wonderful home office all to myself. We are a mobile family, meaning there are a handful of desktops, and two handfuls of laptops. The only one with a true “desk” in the house is my husband, and we’ve just about weaned him from that nonsense. But then there’s that whole “where do I put my stuff” thing. I still need my pens, tape, notecards, some reference books, and a place to put blank CD’s and hang my flash drives. And I want a space that when I’m not using it, can be folded away/covered and inconspicuous.
Ergo, the need for a portable, close-able office space. It could be done Murphy-bed style, folding up into the wall or a cabinet, but why not go one better and have it portable, on wheels, and easily movable to other places in the house?
Now, if I can just figure out where to find one of these babies. Or how to build one. It looks like a traditional electronics shipping/moving crate, with shelving and accessories built in. Couldn’t be that hard to build, could it? At a reasonable cost?
