A few years ago there were several companies that gave you free dial-up services if you could put up with their ads running on the side of the browser screens. They closed their doors, but another company has decided to try it again, this time using free wi-fi access. FreeFi Networks are looking for affiliates to expand their free wi-fi across the US and they are offering advertising opportunities for companies wanting to place an ad on the browser screens of the free wi-fi users. They offer a link to Wi-Fi Zone to find the closest hotspots in your area, and they offer you their FreeFi toolbar to download. I’m not sure what to think of it, but I do like the Hotspot finder they provide.
