Imagine this you get a knock at the door and the mailman has a certified letter from the MPAA, inside that letter is a legal notice saying we have proof you have been sharing copyrighted music and you owe us a truck load of cash. Pay up and keep your mouth shut or we will expose you as the thief you are and take you to court and make you a felon, and throw you in jail.
Obviously this is a slight exaggeration but for a bunch or poor saps they are going to get letters that will probably be more formal, but in the end all they want is your money. [Corante]
