System Administrators are already having near stokes in realizing the power of the Google Desktop Search engine. As an example today I received a notice from a company I deal with that they could not update my yearly subscription because my credit card had expired. I went to the site to update my CC info and realized I had forgot my password.
I loaded outlook and went to the categorized area it is normally in and could not find it. Realizing I had the Google Desktop I did a two word search company name and password and Google’s desktop server found my password in a index it had created of a old PST file. Time to find this info 1 second. So I am hoping Google very quickly puts in some password controls that it doesn’t index. [Yahoo]
