Last week one of my co-workers was bitching up a storm about all of the Windows updates he was having to download. Then we he had spent several hours on dial-up and the update asked him for his Windows 2000 Professional disk he blew his top. We were on travel and his disk are 4500 miles away back in Honolulu. We ended up begging the vendors IT department we were visiting to borrow a disk.
Folks I had to agree with some other blogger commentary on this that Microsoft needs to figure out what the heck they are doing. The latest patching tribulations is enough to piss off and confuse the best IT tech. [John Udell]
