Well I have had one heck of day woke up this morning to agonizing back pain stretched for a while to try and get the back to loosen up. Went downstairs and found the meds the doc had stocked me up on. A OxyCooden and a Flexeril and 20 minutes later I was doing much better. After a 2 hour nap I am up trying to get some work done. Start off and play around with Top Style and Homesite deciding that I still like Hotmetal better for regular html stuff but Top Style is the ticket for CSS. Went ahead and paid for that over the web and no I don’t have to deal with the trial nags.
About 2 this afternoon I decide I have the templates and the CSS cleaned up as much as it is gonna be on the MT3 Test site and decide to roll the production to MT3 along with a couple of other sites I run. Start backups of the 2.6 site along with downloading the databases etc. Between a run to the pharmacy dinner and messing with the kids. This site is now running MT3. I then decided to do some house cleaning on the Laptop as I have been abusing it for the past 2 months and needed to get all of the software I have bought along with all of the programs that I decided where not worth it de-installed and general file organization. Burn a couple of Master DVD’s etc etc etc. So here I am at 1:45am Hawaiian time and I am ready to see what has happened in the tech world news. No wonder my wife calls me nuts sometimes.
But I will tell you one thing that I have been able to get done while recovering from spine surgery is that I am remote logging into all of my machines and getting them organized and sync’d. Wife said her PC has not run this good in a couple of years. Amazing what you can get done when you have nothing but time on your hands.
