On June 1st while enjoying a afternoon at the pool the Editor of this site suffered a serious spine injury. He has been in the hospital since recovering from spinal surgery. He suffered a injury to the spine with a compression burst fracture of the L1 vertebrae and displacing a bone against his spinal cord. He was at high risk of becoming paralyzed. Since surgery he has been able to walk and is slowly getting mobile. He has a H Titanium brace implanted on either side of his spine isolating the affected area.
Todd wanted me to let you know that he will recover and thanks to those that already knew of the accident for the well wishes. As he was in a foreign country when the accident happened communications has been limited and he is in the process now of being transported back to United States.
