With the dozens of RSS aggreators out their how come no one has built a user friendly Web Site Publishing News Syndication tool. I am talking about a package which I could upload my 1000 or so RSS feeds and have our server pull the data format and have it available for our users. I have played with drupal but it cannot scale to a 1000 feeds it can only handle about a 100 feeds and the way the data is organized and displayed to the end user is not the best.
If you look at sites like www.newsisfree.com or some of the other syndication sites they have huge news feeds covering news topics from A-Z. I want to cover sites A-Z but only those that we use to build this site.
If you are aware of any news syndication publishing packages let us know! Hopefully they don’t take 20 engineers to install either.
