Are you using the web as a sole source of reference material!

I recently went back to school. I needed to get some formal training in some technical subjects I was not up to speed on. I had to do a great deal of research and finding technically correct information on the net at times was a problem. A great deal of on-line material I found was incorrect.

Well my 14 year old daughter and I talked about this a month or so ago and I have been validating what she is finding for her homework assignments. I also paid for a Britanica subscription this has helped her get more accurate information.

Ars Technica has a article on these very issues. I need to get serious and find some more reference site that has information you can trust. So if you are doing research for school or work you may want to really think about the points the author makes over at [Ars Technica]
