The debate will continue for some time on overall ramifications of outsourcing jobs in the United States to foreign countries. I have already made one major support contract change due to outsourcing and have hired one of the people that was laid off as an contractor. The company that lost revenue from our switch sent me a letter that obviously was a form letter which pissed me off even more they did not even have the decency to call. I will try and not be too spiteful but I had quite an audience the Saturday night at a function when I talked about what had happened to us. Many where in agreement that they where not happy about the continued outsourcing that is taking place.
