There are not many Geeks out there that where appreciative of VeriSign meddling with the infrastructure of the Internet by re-directing mis-typed domains to it’s own search engine. So VeriSign has decided to sue ICANN for telling them to pull the plug. This action by VeriSign is another example of a company that just doesn’t get it.
Personally I think the company Executives at VeriSign need to sent a message that their behavior is not acceptable. I voted with my pocket book and moved 30+ domains away from VeriSign to another registar. I encourage all of you to do the same. Boycott Verisign! [Yahoo News]
