HP makes bold attack on consumers file sharing

Seems HP’s CEO doesn’t like the fact that people are using their and other companies products to share files online and is set to add DRM controls to it’s media products.

Well if they want to shoot themselves in the foot and piss off the people that bread their butter they can go ahead and implement all of the control features they want. Main thing they need to remember is consumers are fickle and will vote with their wallets. [The Register]
