It is the biggest scam on the Internet. Dedicated IP’s are not cheap and they are not handed around like candy. The majority of websites sit on shared IP’s and the Internet Server and Router Rules direct the right traffic to the right space. But Companies and Government offices are seeing there dedicated IP’s being stolen. It is obviously a big business but thus far they have been getting away with it without incrimination. [The Register]
