After Chris at www.lockergnome.com linked the Open Directory Project Story last week, we had the usual Lockergnome crowd surge. After analyzing the servers log files for the week we found several interesting links in our log files that linked to my post. The number 1 reference link was to a Open Directory Project private forum entry.
I must have touched a nerve because we got about 3000 hits from the dmoz.org forum. Curiosity has the best of me and I sure would like to see what the thread reveals positive or negative.
But I checked again tonight and even after 3000+ hits from ODP Editors we are still not listed in the directory. Makes you wonder if my conspiracy theory holds true. If your a editor at the ODP sneak on in to the ODP forums and drop us a line on what they are saying about us.
