Many people have run small web sites on there personal servers out of there homes using IP-Redirect services like Dynamic IP. But it appears the big and bad RIAA web site is being hosted in some dude’s house in Maryland on his Verizon connection. Which has been suffering a pro-longed Denial of Service Attack.
I wonder if the guy doing the hosting has permission to do that? When we launched this site we went with a professional hosting company why the RIAA would run there site out of some guys house is beyond me. Although it is kinda funny. [Security News]
I am a bit disturbed though in the way the refer to the web-hosting owner who is a disabled veteran.
