10yrs ago the word E-mail was foreign to most

An article about a book on Salon today made me reflect were we have been and where we are headed. I have been involved with the on-line world before the Internet and the WWW exploded. I had a dial-up BBS back in the days of 2400 baud modems. So I have had a form of e-mail since 1987. So when the net exploded it was not a big step for me.

But a lot of you have not had that fortune and now most of use could not live without our daily e-mail fix. When I was attempting to launch a Net based business approx 8 years ago bankers would laugh at the legitimate business models we were presenting. (Ours actually made money)

How the world has changed, if the article is a true reflection of the book then I will have to get on Amazon and purchase the book and give it a read. I have never endorsed a book before but we will see after I am finished with it.
