Well I am all for companies offering services and I am on the Wifi bandwagon and started working today on my network here at home. But it appears that a consortium of companies Intel, IBM, AT&T Wireless, Verizon Communications and Cingular Wireless are all in bed together to come up with something that will be nationwide.
While they are still talking I think we all need to get our own little community nets put together and form our own coalition. [Source ZDNet]
