Optical Cables by Corning has Rebate Program with LaCie and Magma

Optical Cables by Corning offers the first all-optical fiber cables for the Thunderbolt community. They are available in lengths spanning up to 60 meters. The cables enable broadcasters and A/V professionals to connect computers and peripherals at speeds up to 10 Gb/s through Thunderbolt technology and up to 20 Gb/s through Thunderbolt 2. Optical Cables by Corning are 50 percent smaller, 80 percent lighter, and stronger than comparable copper cables.

At NAB 2014, Optical Cables by Corning announced a new rebate program with LaCie and Magma. With the purchase of a Thunderbolt enabled device from LaCie or Magma and a Thunderbolt Optical Cable by Corning, users can save up to $150.00.

Qualifying devices include: the LaCie Little Big Disk Thunderbolt 3, LaCie Little Big Disk Thunderbolt Series, LaCie d2 USB 3.0 Thunderbolt Series, LaCie 2big Thunderbolt Series, LaCie 5bigThunderbolt Series, LaCie eSATA Hub Thunderbolt Series, Magma ExpressBox 1T, Magma ExpressBox 3T w Storage Bavs and the Magma ROBEN-3 Rackmount Expansion Chassis.
