Dane-Elec stopped by to visit TPN in Las Vegas and talk a bit about its new NAS device. NAS, though you likely know already if you frequent tech sites like this one, stands for Network Attached Storage. These are computer tower-like devices packed with hard drives and automatically back up the computers on your network.
The new NAS box from Dane-Elec is called My Ditto. The new box can be accessed from anywhere for easy access to your stored media and documents from a smartphone or tablet while you are on the go. In addition, it can also stream media to your TV. The NAS is accessed via a browser dashboard at My Ditto.
Prices begin at $239 for a one TB box and go from there based on storage — all the way to six TB. My Ditto is available now.
