I have been hearing complaints across the community about the Yahoo Podcast site and having about 1500 people that subscribe to my podcast over their tonight I went to see what was up.
I was pretty shocked to see that they have not updated my podcast in about 2 months. This is completely unacceptable for a popular destination like this.
The Yahoo folks made a big splash two years ago at Podcast and New Media Expo but they have pretty much become a non player in the space because of this inability to keep their database current.
Who is in charge of that property over their and is anyone listening. Very sad state of affairs and if you get your act together please update my listing with all my back shows. Podcasts.Yahoo.com
This seems to be a common theme with a large number of podcast sites that have simply been abandoned. I think I am going to start a dead pool listing. In fact if you have a dead pool podcast directory drop me a line I can help.
