Have you ever had some digital pictures you have taken that when you snapped the photo off you thought you had a world class picture, only to be disappointed that once you pulled it up on your computer screen. Or do you spend a lot of time cleaning up ,and enhancing pictures you take.
Ever since my wife and I bought our Cannon Rebel, I have been more picky about picture editing. So when I received “Exposure” to review I wanted to be able to give it a great workout. My schedule has been pretty full so I did not get it loaded till yesterday.
Once I did all I can say is wow, I keep calling my wife into the office to look at the before and after pictures. This software package is targeted for professionals but every person should have it, let me say this, if you have a digital camera this is a software package that you are going to have to consider adding to your arsenal of photo editing and enhancing tools. If you want your pictures to look like film to get that vibrant look you have been missing this is the application for you.
I had some pictures that I took a year ago that were kind of hazy, well applying one of their process to it, and now the picture looks like it did when I pressed the trigger in real life. If you have images that appear grainy applying some of the tools in Exposure to the images completely sharpened them to a magnitude I did not know was possible. If you take pictures of people then the features that allow you to soften and sharpen photos is unlike anything I have ever seen before.
Don’t get me wrong the extent of my photo enhancing has been using photoshop and I’m not real good at it, but I can say very confidently for cleaning up photos I will no longer be using that software package. If your into Black and White photos, the application does a great job of converting images to black and white as well
It does not matter if you are a Mac user or a Windows user they have a version for both operating systems. The Estimated Street Price is $199.00 the price may scare some of you but I will be straight up. It’s worth every penny. It is not very often that a product completely wins me over but this one has and the effort the team at AlienSkin have put forth is very evident and this is one application that I will utilize a great deal.
