Are you a 10% User?

Are you part of the 10% of Internet Users that use 80% of Time Warner’s Bandwidth. If you live on the net, stream audio, play games download lots of files you probably are. What would you do tomorrow if Time Warner said we don’t want you as a customer anymore and canceled your service for putting to high of a load on their infrastructure.

Yesterday at the Hawaiian Telecommunications Association I ended my part of the presentation by saying if anyone was here from Time Warner please don’t cancel my services because I am downloading legal media and pushing out media I am creating and not sharing files. I was half joking and half serious because I know from time to time that broadband providers send out messages to high usage users telling them to back off.
