Everytime you turn around Google is launching a new service, companies that make their living providing services and tools on the Internet have to raise an eyebrow everytime Google releases a new tool and hope their product line is not the next victim.
I have probably 50 programs on my laptop but I use probably 6 of them and at least one of those six is a tool by Google. If you have a warchest of that kind of money you can continue to build cool tools that people will generally like and use.
