Many of you may not know but their is a strike up in Canada that is in it’s 11th day. Those striking are from CBC, (Canadian Broadcast Corp) what is unique about the strike is that the striking journalist have created their own news site, and are publishing news and stories on their own. Additionally their creating audio programming by producing podcast.
This is a great example of routing around the establishment, the question remains if CBC does not give into their demands will they be able to formalize and launch a long term new Canadian network? [www.cbcunplugged.com]
